Do you ever experience "setbacks?"

Do you ever feel like you have a setback in your life in some area?

I think we all know what that feels like.

Either we have a setback in our career, or we have a setback in our health, maybe we lose sight of our fitness for a few years and we put on weight. or we start having aches and pains. Setbacks are a natural part of life.

The key is not to let the setbacks define you.

Your setback does not determine your worth, nor does it does it determine who you are.

It’s simply the ebb and flow that happens in everyone’s life at some point.

Don’t give it to much attention, and don’t spend too much time trying to figure out why the setback occurred, because that only sinks you deeper into the setback.

Focus on getting back into the flow by remembering your goal and the reason behind your goal. Remind yourself of your overall vision, and WHY you are doing what you’re doing.

Staying focused on your purpose, the reason “why,” will keep you going when it feels like nothing is happening or if you hit a road block.

Keep reminding yourself you’re capable of doing, being, giving, and having anything you desire, and allow yourself to reconnect with your dreams and passions!

If your setback is in your health and fitness, stop focusing on what you don’t like about where you are at this moment, and redirect your thoughts to what you know is possible. Redirect your thoughts to what you want to be true for yourself.

If you want better health, less pain, more muscle, less body fat, and if you want to feel energy and strength, then focus on how good that’s going to feel.

Reach out to the people who inspire you and who you trust for their help.

Invest in yourself!

Hire someone to coach you, join a fitness club or exercise class, buy a workout video that inspires you, and/or find a friend who wants to start taking daily walks or work out with you.

Sometimes it only takes a few sessions to get you back in the flow, and excited about your health and fitness again!

Remind yourself that you are absolutely worthy and deserving of an abundant life in every area of everything good!

You’re on this planet to do great things!

You’re on this planet to create, to dream, to build, and to make a difference in some way.

Sometimes a setback is a redirection toward the next level of you reaching your greatness and stepping into your purpose.

Sometimes a setback comes because we get lazy or complacent, and usually it’s because we revert back to focusing on the little negatives in our life instead of all of the positives.

Consciously begin to focus again on what you want, what you desire, what you dream of, and feel the good feelings of those things being real, whether they have presented themselves yet or not.

And now think of a setback in a new way.

Consider what you used to define as a “setback” instead as a temporary “pull back.” A pull back is a time of focus and gaining of momentum to launch stronger and faster into whatever it is you’re doing or creating.

Just like in archery, before you shoot your arrow at your target, you must take the time to “pull back” on that arrow to gain momentum and increase focus before you let your arrow fly.

So, now you know a set back doesn’t have to actually set you back.

It’s instead a time of pulling back to regain focus and establish a stronger momentum before you launch your arrow like a laser at your target goal.

Keep believing! Expect to reach your goal, and know that everything you desire is on the way!

So, if you currently feel like you’re in a setback, don’t spend precious time trying to figure it out, and don’t try to get to the bottom of it to find out how you got there.

Simply redirect your focus to what you want in your life, what you desire to be your reality, and watch the opportunities, people, and all the synchronistic meetings and encounters show up just at the right time because of your redirection of thought and your new momentum and renewed focus.

As always, I wish you health, happiness, abundance, success, and much LOVE!
